Christmas Party
Last weekend was City of Angels’ annual Christmas party. What an event! We had a couple church groups and several families come down from the states, the kids invited some of their families, we bussed over children from a nearby women’s shelter and other families from the neighborhood stopped in as well. The kids were really excited to open their presents and show off the drama they had been working on for the past two months. Those in attendance included
- Brandy Schulteis and Adrian Voorkamp came down with lots of presents for all the kids. Brandy also brought down two very generous cash donations from Component Concepts located in Carlsbad, California and Jen and Chuck Eshom. These gifts are greatly appreciated and will be used to provide food for our children.
- Jessica Colford came with some of her friends and family and brought down big bags full of presents for each child.
- Joni Wolfe came down with her family for the day. They purchased presents for all the kids and had a great time watching the drama and eating tamales.
- Melinda Green brought her team by after doing a big outreach nearby. They gave new shoes to all the kids.
- Hillside Community Church worked all day on various projects at City of Angels including building new bunkbeds for the boy
